Overview
The Budapest Data+AI Forum is a leading vendor-independent Data Engineering, AI and ML conference in Hungary, Budapest. The conference and its predecessors have been running for 10+ years.
In 2026 it will take place between May 18-20 (Monday to Wednesday) in a hybrid format, accommodating both in-person and remote speakers.
There will be dedicated in-person days for Data platforms and AI & ML and a closing online day covering both.

Speaker benefits
Free Conference ticket
The conference offers free registrations for all speakers.
- For in-person speakers: 2-day hybrid ticket
- For online speakers: 2-day online ticket
Accommodation support
For international speakers traveling to Budapest we provide one or two free night of accommodation at the conference hotel. As a general rule, the conference does not cover other travel expenses. Exceptions may be made in specific cases at the sole discretion of the program committee.
Co-speaker rules and benefits
- Co-speakers are welcome for workshops and standard talks, but not for quick talks.
- One co-speaker can be nominated for each talk.
- Co-speakers will also receive a free ticket to the conference and are invited to the speaker dinner, but will not receive accommodation support
Submitting a Talk proposal
The second phase of the Call for Speakers has now closed. We have started reviewing the submitted proposals and would like to thank everyone who applied.
