The Budapest Data+AI Forum is a leading vendor-independent Data Engineering, AI and ML conference in Hungary, Budapest. The conference and its predecessors have been running for 10+ years. In 2026 it will take place between May 18-20 (Monday to Wednesday) in a hybrid format, accommodating both in-person and remote speakers.
About the PyData Track
This year we are organizing a PyData track again in cooperation with NumFocus.
The goal of the track is to share knowledge about using open source programming languages for data engineering, data analysis and data science/ML/AI. The main focus is on Python, but R or Julia talks are also welcomed.
Call for Speakers
We welcome case studies, hands-on examples, and lessons learned from real-world applications.
Some example topics are:
- Data engines (Dask, Ray, Spark, Polars, DuckDB etc.)
- Data processing framework, pipelines, orchestration, streaming
- Data visualization and dashboarding
- AI, Machine learning, data science
- Responsible data & AI: fairness, privacy, governance, model risk
- Reproducibility: testing, packaging, env management, experiment tracking
- Case studies: industry, academia, public sector, research projects
