VIRTUAL: marimo now gives Claude access to all Python variables
About the Session
Tools like Claude usually only have access to bash. Sure, they can run scripts to print variables. But they don't have access to Python variables in memory.
But what if we gave it access to a modern Python notebook? A live one? And then we could also give it access to all sliders and other components that interact with Python.
What do you think might happen if we allow agents to do that?
This talk will be a live demo where we have Claude build an interactive widget that it, as well as the human, as well as Python, can interact with.

About the Speaker
Vincent is a senior data professional who worked as an engineer, researcher, team lead, and educator in the past. He's especially interested in understanding algorithmic systems so that one may prevent failure. As such, he prefers simpler solutions that scale, as opposed to the latest and greatest from the hype cycle.
You may know him from his https://koaning.io blog, his many open source projects, or his https://calmcode.io project. He's also known for giving helpful advice for free, so please feel free to talk to him if you have an interesting data problem.
