Agenda sneak preview

To kick-off the conference, we organize a warm-up evening on the 2nd of June with a special Big Data meetup and other community activities.

Both main conference days (3rd an 4th of June) will start with a plenary session. The list of keynote speakers includes:

  • Stephen Brobst, the CTO of Teradata will return this year again with a keynote on Wednesday morning
  • Bence Arato, director of BI Consulting will speak about the current wave of  big data innovation in Budapest

In the afternoons there will be technical talks in parallel sessions. Here is a sample of accepted English talks:

The full list of talks is going to be published in a few days.

The Budapest Data Forum is coming in June

Known as the Data Warehouse Forum in the previous years, in 2015 our conference will be organized under a new name – Budapest Data Forum – but at the usual time, the first week of June.

Besides the traditional Data Warehousing and Big Data topics,  this year the agenda of the Forum will also cover Data Science. Therefore there will be no dedicated Data Warehouse and Big Data days this year – all three focus areas will be presented as separate tracks during both days of the conference.

During the two main conference days (3rd June, Wednesday and 4th June, Thursday) in the morning there will be plenary sessions, while in the afternoon parallel sessions will be held.

The last day of the conference (5 June, Friday) will be the Training Day, when the participants will have the chance to get a deeper understanding about the relevant topics in longer workshops.
